387 Short Stories: Day 212 to Day 215

Hello! So four short stories in four days. Each day something different. That is what this project is teaching me, both professionally and personally and I am loving it.

So here are the four stories read till today, from Day 212 to Day 215:

Day 212: 9th of July 2014:

A Fight with a Cannon by Victor Hugo: A grim tale of warfare, disaster, and bias. It is simply stunning and at the same time not complicated at all. I normally do not enjoy stories at sea, but I liked how this one is told.

Day 213: 10th of July 2014:

Bullet in a Brain by Tobias Wolf: There is satire. There is mock. There is distance. There is a lot of confusion as well. A story which is very different. Anders, the protagonist is very different. Nothing that I have read earlier.

Day 214: 11th of July 2014:

Died and Gone to Vegas by Tim Gautreaux

Day 215: 12th of July 2014:

I Stand Here Ironing by Tillie Olsen

These stories are just brilliant. Do give them a shot.
